The first official journal of Bangladesh Society of Criminology, in partnership with the Bangladesh Institute of Crime and Justice Studies (BICJS), has begun its journey with the inaugural issue dated Volume 1 Issue 1 January 1, 2026, with the Editor in Chief Dr. Mokerrom Hossain, Senior Editor Dr. Mohammed Bin Kashem, Executive Editor Dr. Mohammad Azizur Rahman, and Editorial Team Members Dr. Md. Omar Faruk, Dr. Md. Ishtiaq Ahmed Talukder, and Advocate Tajul Islam. There will be several advisory members for the journal. The Editorial Team will serve the inaugural issue of the journal from August 16, 2025. Based on members’ suggestions, the theme is decided to be Crime, Victims, and Justice in Bangladesh, and the length of the abstract for the inaugural issue for preliminary decision is up to 250 words instead of 150 words. The date of the preliminary proposal was extended to August 15, 2025.   The first issue should aim for 10 research articles. Members also suggest affiliating the journal with an indexed database and open-access, reputable media.
